Visceral fat - incalculable dangers to health

Visceral fat or abdominal fat is a type of body fat that exists in the abdomen and surrounds the internal organs: heart, liver, kidney, pancreas and even in the muscles. Visceral fat is really dangerous toxins. In fact, Excessive deposits of visceral fat are associated with many serious health problems including gastroenteritis,  cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and some types of cancer. Researchers recommend visceral fat also affect emotions by increasing stress hormone - cortisol and reducing endorphins - good hormone. So, we can say that visceral fat murderers silently in the body.

Why Lactoferrin helps reduce visceral fat?

Lactoferrin helps increase basal metabolism: Lactoerin supply oxygen to cells in order to increase respiration of cellular, enhance metabolism especially degradation of glucose and fatty acids to produce calories and energies. Increase lipid liberation from fat cells and inhibit lipid biosynthesis in the liver and in the fat cells.

Research has shown Lactoferrin GX reduces up to 40% visceral fat in the abdomen

The accumulation of fat in the human body metabolic syndrome is inevitable. Lion Corporation (units of product distribution in Japan Lactoferrin) Lactoferrin statistical report that was quickly reduced impact visceral fat accumulation in many people. In 2 months, 12 people (aged 35-65) were taking Lactoferrin 300 mg daily dose. The results showed that, on average, 20% fat reduction and abdominal waist down 4%. A case of abdominal fat reduction reached 40%.

Image abdominal fat was measured from the results of a CT scan.

Free radical (OH*) - major cause of aging.

Free radical (OH*) - is a strong oxidant. It is a very dangerous substance in the body.

Molercular cycle of Hydroxyl radical with non-pairing electron (image: wikipedia)

Hydroxyl radical can’t be removed by reaction of enzyme mechanism, because this mechanism requires diffusion. This action is more slow than seperated cycle of this radical, so it can oxygenate any compounds in neighborhood, then it can damage almost high weight molerculars: carbohydrates, nucleic acids (causing mutations), lipids (peroxide lipid) and amino acids (transfer phenylalanine to m-tyrosine and o-tyrosine). The antioxidants such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E… can’t control hydroxyl radical (OH). Inhibit the multiplication of free radical play the import role in anti-aging.

How does Lactoferrin inhibit the development of hydroxil radical?

Lactoferrin is a rich iron molecular, it has ion Fe 3+ and Fe 2+, in Fenton reaction (reaction to create hydroxyl radical), Fe2+ and Cu+ are strong catalysts creat free radical. Lactoferrin remove these catalysts by inhibit iron in Fenton reaction and creation of hydroxyl radical.

Lactoferrin and immune system

Lactoferrin is natural antibody that has strong antimicrobial activity against wide spectrum of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses… protect the body against pathogens. First antibody source from mamma to infant is lactoferrin. The amount of Lactoferrin in human milk (especially in human colostrums) is bigger than other mammalian milk.

The mechanism is the direct interaction between iron and the bacterial surfaces causing cell breakdown. Beneficial bacteria (lactic acid bacteria) doesn’t respond to iron in its development and its structure of films isn’t similar as harmful bacteria, so it is protected by lactoferrin. In fact, the exact mechanism isn’t yet clear to know why lactoferrin doesn’t inhibit beneficial bacteria, however almost clinical results verify it. In clinical trials were used to inoculate pieces of jelly with Lactoferrin beneficial bacterias harmful bacterias. As a result, harmful bacterias are reduced but beneficial bacterias don’t change.

Harmful bacterias

Beneficial bacterias

Lactoferrin helps develop the body's immune system, moderate the activity of the immune system and stimulates the immune system  produce antibodies to protect the body.

In addition, lactoferrin also nourishes and stimulates development of beneficial flora in the digestive tract. Micro flora has a role to maintain the balance in intestine, strengthen digestive system and prevent constipation ...
